Hilton Program will discountine rolling VIP tier as of Jan 1, 2009

Hilton program has a rolling VIP tier qualification period, you just need to qualify next elite level in a rolling 12 months period, your new elite status will valid for the following 12 months. However, it is too confusing and lots of people call the VIP desk for clarification, so in order to keep it simple, the chain will discount this rolling VIP tier and switch back to normal calender year qualification period.
