Hyatt summer promotion is here(not that great)

Some pictures from world tallest hotel-Park Hyatt Shanghai
I stayed in Feb, but I am too busy with many thinsg recently, so no time for me to even organize hundreds of photo for past month trip. Anyway, finally got some time to do it.
The hotel and building are owned by Japanese, so everything is very similar to Park Hyatt Toyko. The highest floor you can go in hotel is 93rd, above that, u need to pay and enter from world financial building.

A nice Hyatt bonus promotion for Northern California Properties
book and stay btw now until Apr 30th, earn 5000 bonus at selected Northern California Properties, offer code NCAL5K
Although, you can only put one promotion code under offer code section when reserve the room, the hotel front desk is able to put three codes under offer code section. This is definitely combinable with G1/2/3/4 promotion. Just make sure u let them know when u checkout and double check all offer code is on ur receipt offer code box.
So if you stay at SFO airport propertty at $120 per night. you will get 5K+1K(assume G1)+2K(assume it's ur first 2 nights on night after night promotion)+1200(room rate)=9200 as a general member.

Park Hyatt Tokyo
We took Airport Limousine bus from NRT to Park Hyatt Tokyo. The cost is 3000 Yen each, but for extra 100 yen, you can get 1 day metro pass, so make sure to ask NRT bus ticket counter Metro pass combo.
The bus dropped us off at front entrance, there were several hotel employees waiting, then brought us to the hotel lobby, which is located on 41st floor. From 2nd-39th floor are office building with separate entrance, and a Japanese restaurant on 40th floor.

After exit the elevator, there was a Lobby Lounge, then pass another western restaurant and library, we arrived lobby. There were only three desks like concierge desk in the lobby, so check process completed while sitting there.

Our room is on the 47th floor, the view is overlooking Shinjuku Park.
Hotel has Free shuttle every 20 mins to Shinjuku Station, you can take subway/JR from there or you can walk to lots of great places around that area.
I did not eat in hotel restaurants. With so many great Japanese restaurant downstairs, why bother to eat in the hotel.
The service was great, I left 2 laptop on Airport Limousine bus, but the front desk people found back for me after 2 hours. I think this hotel provided the best value for my Hyatt special promotional free nights certificate.

You need to Register, make 2 stays between September 1 and December 30, 2008, Redeem your award between September 15, 2008 and February 28, 2009. In addition, earning free nights, earn 2,000 bonus points after every two eligible Hyatt stays paid with your MasterCard card.
Hyatt, Hyatt Place and Summerfield Suite all qualify for stay requirement.
However, when you redeem ur award,
"A minimum of a three-night award stay is required for Faster Free Nights Award(s) redemption in non-resort hotels during mid-week (i.e., Monday through Thursday). One or two-night stays at non-resort hotels are available on weekends only. A weekend is generally defined as Friday through Sunday, but may vary to conform to local custom and practice in certain countries. A great Promotion, I think I and my wife will make at least 20 free nights before promotion ends.

However, Hyatt Diamond member desk also confirmed that the famous "Faster Free night" promotion is coming back on Sept 1st, 2008-Dec 31st 2008. You will also get a free night after 2 stays by paying with MasterCard.
Currently, Hyatt.com has not release the ""Faster Free night" promotion yet,so enroll now will get u the first free night promotion, then when hyatt release "Faster Free night", you will enroll 2 promotions at the same time.
The reason I ask you to enroll hyatt program now is because once the ""Faster Free night" releases, the first free night promotion will be gone.

Great Saving with AAA membership
I have never had AAA membership for past few years because my car came with free towing service and hotel saving is NOT significant compare to most prepaid rate until I stay more frequently at Hyatt Properties.
The saving is big sometimes and all AAA rate comes with free breakfast for two.
I stayed at Hyatt Regency at San Antonio, where room is selling 209 on hyatt.com. With AAA rate, the room drop to 119 with breakfast. One night is enough to pay AAA membership.
Also, AAA rate is a flexible rate, so you can cancel anytime. This added more value to AAA membership dues.

简单,好记, 每花一美元可以赚取5 点, 白金卡会员额外奖励15% ,钻石卡会员额外奖励30% . 除了这个, 不同酒店可以还有额外奖励, 在订之前去gold passport的网站去看一下就知道了. 如果想得到 白金卡会员资格, 你需要入住5次或多或15晚;钻石卡会员资格则需要入住25次或多或50晚; 钻石卡会员会被升级到Regency/Grand Club room, 而且会有 lounge access, 包括免费的早餐. 还有,当你换免费的房间的时候,如果你是白金卡或钻石卡会员 ,就算没有免费房间你也可以换到.
